Stamped Concrete or Decorative Pattern Paving Styles

Panorama’s Stamped Concrete paving is also called decorative concrete or Pattern Pave. It’s an attractive, versatile and cost-effective option for pathways, patios and driveways. Decorative concrete can bring a stunning new dimension and texture to the outside of your home.

Select between stamped concrete patterns for different functions. Smoother finishes create flatter surfaces and uneven surfaces provide for more grip and texture.
The range of colour and design combinations will suit both traditional and modern houses.

Our stamped concrete designs have been installed in Adelaide homes creating a Mediterranean style pool and patio area, a cobblestone street reminding us of Rome or an old English manor. We have also seen stamped concrete finishes complement modern and contemporary homes.

How do we install stamped concrete?

Once you have selected your stamped concrete pattern, your site is prepared and the formwork is installed. The paving team will pour the concrete into the formwork and trowel the concrete to a smooth, even level.

When the concrete has cured enough, polyurethane moulds (stamps) are placed over the surface to create the pattern and texture.

The benefits of stamped concrete paving or decorative pattern pave

  • Affordable quality and great value for money
  • Solid and strong and will remain in place for many years.
  • Handles heavy use and is designed for cars, boats, small trucks and caravans to drive on
  • No weeds or subsidence so very little maintenance is required
  • Control joints are much less noticeable – they are saw cut into the concrete slab after it has cured slightly and are far less noticeable than standard bar joints

Create a seamless and elegant look for challenging landscapes

Stamped concrete is hardy and works exceptionally well for undulating, uneven or challenging landscape slopes. It brings consistency and style to an area of your property that may be difficult to pave using normal pavers. Many of our clients have been delighted with the way decorative concrete provides a visually beautiful solution as well as the practicality they need.

No more weeding in between pavers on undulating landscapes! View our photo gallery for ideas on using pattern pave for steep sites and to improve areas such as pathways and pool surrounds.

We have a range of stamped concrete finishes to suit your property which combine colour and texture to suit the purpose of the area to be installed.
