Panorama Concrete Paving adheres to all requirements of the Building Code of Australia and often exceeds the Code requirements in the concrete mixes we use, the number of joints we install and the standard of steel reinforcing in our paving.
However even with the stringent standards we set for ourselves, there are environmental factors that cannot be predicted and cracks can occur. We believe that it is best to leave hairline cracks in concrete paving alone. With steel reinforcing installed in the paving the crack should not become larger over time.
Many people will have cracks fixed at a substantial cost only to find the cracks reappearing again later and the repair work can be more noticeable than the original crack. Even with the occasional crack, concrete paving is often a better looking long term option than individual pavers which will continue to move over time with weeds growing up between them.
